Last updated: October 22, 2026. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ClockCraft website, service descriptions, watch care resources, contact forms, and related offerings. By visiting our website, submitting an inquiry, or engaging with our services, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website. Separate written estimates, service authorizations, or agreements may apply to individual repair engagements and should be read together with these Terms.

Website Use

You may use the ClockCraft website to learn about watch repair, review maintenance information, explore service options, and contact us with questions about a timepiece. You agree to provide accurate and current information when submitting forms or requesting assistance. You must use the website lawfully and refrain from activities that interfere with its functionality, compromise security, disrupt other visitors, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or information.

You must not use automated tools to overload the website, distribute malicious software, submit fraudulent inquiries, impersonate another person, or collect information about other visitors without authorization. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, respond to misuse, investigate suspicious activity, or comply with legal obligations. Any restriction will be applied subject to applicable law and any rights you may have.

Service Information & Scope

ClockCraft provides information about watch repair, maintenance, diagnostics, and related care services. Descriptions on the website are intended to explain the types of assistance that may be available. They do not guarantee that every repair, component, technique, or service is suitable for every watch. The appropriate work depends on the timepiece's make, movement, age, construction, condition, parts availability, and the nature of the reported issue.

A service description or general inquiry does not constitute a confirmed repair agreement. Before work begins, the scope of service, expected charges, estimated timing, and any relevant limitations may need to be discussed and confirmed. Additional findings discovered during inspection may affect the recommended work. Where appropriate, further authorization may be requested before proceeding beyond the initially agreed scope.

Watch Assessments & Diagnostics

Initial descriptions of a watch's symptoms can help identify possible causes, but they cannot always establish the underlying problem. Issues such as inaccurate timekeeping, intermittent stopping, unusual sounds, moisture, crown resistance, or damaged fittings may have several possible explanations. A physical inspection or diagnostic assessment may be required before a reliable repair recommendation can be made.

Any preliminary information provided through the website, email, or telephone is general guidance unless expressly confirmed as a formal assessment. Where an inspection fee or diagnostic charge applies, the amount and applicable conditions should be explained before the relevant service is authorized. An assessment may identify additional issues that were not apparent from the initial description, photographs, or reported symptoms.

Repair Estimates & Authorization

Estimates are based on the information available at the time they are prepared. An estimate may change if an inspection reveals hidden damage, worn or missing components, previous unauthorized repairs, corrosion, contamination, or other conditions that affect the required work. If the expected cost or scope changes materially, we will seek appropriate clarification or authorization before proceeding with additional work, subject to any agreement already in place and applicable law.

By authorizing a repair, you confirm that you have the right to request work on the watch and agree to the applicable scope and charges communicated to you. If you are acting on behalf of another owner, you are responsible for having the necessary permission. Please disclose any known defects, prior repair attempts, unusual operating behavior, or special handling requirements that may help us assess the timepiece appropriately.

Service Availability & Parts

Repair feasibility may depend on access to compatible parts, specialist tools, technical documentation, and the condition of the watch. Some components may be discontinued, difficult to source, or available only through particular suppliers. We do not guarantee that every model can be repaired, that original manufacturer parts will always be available, or that a particular repair method will be suitable in every case.

If a required component cannot be sourced or a proposed repair is not technically appropriate, alternative options may be discussed where available. Any alternative part, modification, or change to the proposed service should be explained as appropriate before authorization. We reserve the right to decline work that cannot reasonably be completed safely, responsibly, or within the capabilities of the available service resources.

Pricing & Payment

Applicable service charges will be communicated through the relevant estimate, service confirmation, or other agreed purchasing process. The amount payable may depend on diagnostic requirements, labor, replacement components, specialist procedures, and any additional services that have been authorized. You are responsible for reviewing the agreed scope and charges before confirming a repair. Additional fees, if applicable, should be disclosed in the relevant service terms or communicated before they are incurred, where required by law.

By providing payment information, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method. Payments may be handled by independent payment providers under their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control the operation or availability of third-party payment systems. If payment is declined, reversed, or cannot be verified, service processing or release of a completed repair may be delayed, subject to applicable law and the agreed service conditions.

Turnaround Times & Delays

Any service timeline communicated to you is an estimate unless it is expressly confirmed as a guaranteed deadline in writing. Completion time may depend on the complexity of the repair, inspection findings, parts availability, specialist requirements, workload, and other factors. Vintage, unusual, or highly complicated timepieces may require additional investigation or sourcing efforts.

We will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed of material changes to an estimated timeline when appropriate. Delays may occur because of supplier interruptions, shipping disruptions, technical complications, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. An estimated completion date should not be treated as a guarantee unless the applicable written agreement expressly states otherwise.

Customer Responsibilities & Watch Condition

Before handing over a timepiece for service, please communicate any known operating problems, previous repairs, impact damage, exposure to moisture, or other relevant history. Where possible, identify accessories or components included with the watch and clarify whether they should remain with it during the service process. Remove personal items that are not necessary for the requested work. You should retain any documentation or accessories that are not specifically required for inspection or repair.

Watches may arrive with existing scratches, dents, worn finishes, loose fittings, degraded seals, corrosion, or internal damage. Inspection may reveal conditions that were not visible beforehand. We will take reasonable care when handling a timepiece, but the presence of pre-existing damage, fragile materials, previous modifications, or deteriorated components may limit the work that can safely be performed. Relevant limitations should be discussed when identified.
